How do I become a representative?

Text or call us on 085 7521655 and we’ll have an initial chat, then if you are still interested, we’ll can make an appointment to call round to your house and go through things with you in more detail.  Alternatively, email us on info@sellavoncosmetics.com and we’ll contact you.

How much money can I earn?

Commission is paid at the rate of 21.5% on most sales.  You can work as many hours as you wish so the more time and effort you put into the business the more rewarding it will be. The more customers you have, the more orders you submit, the more money you will earn.

Where will I work, will I have a territory?

You will be working from home in area to suit you selling to friends and family.  There are no territories with Avon as such, but if you are living in a small village area where there is already an active Avon representative and this is the only area in which you can operate, it may be that we cannot appoint you.  But talk to us anyway.

How much will it cost me to become an Avon Representative?

Nothing!  Avon supply FREE Brochures and delivery of products is also FREE.

Am I bound to a contract?

No.  The only commitment you have to make is that you place at least one order per campaign with a minimum value of €150.00

How many hours must I put in each week?

This is entirely up to you.  We suggest you look upon being an Avon representative as starting your own business.  The more you put in the more you take out.  If you think about it like a part-time job where you work say three mornings a week for four hours a day, then if you were to commit to Avon on that scale, it is likely you will make substantially more money than any typical part time job.

Will I receive any training?

As a new Avon Representative you are not on your own. On our first visit to you we will explain all the basics and answer any questions you may have. We will also give you some suggestions about how to develop your business.   After you have placed your first order, we will run through your invoice and answer any queries you might have.  We are always available by email and telephone to answer day to day questions.  We want you to be successful and to feel part of our winning team.

Do I have to buy stock?

No.  Orders are placed with Avon on a weekly basis and you only order what your customers want.  It is suggested that you buy a few samples to show customers to be able to demonstrate and show quality etc., but that is entirely up to you.

If selling Avon is so good, why do people leave?

Like any job, you get out what you put in.  For those that work at it there is no limit to what you can earn and it’s also a great way making friends and new contacts. Those who sit back and do nothing get nothing out of it and move on.

Do I need a car?

A car is not necessary, but it would certainly help with your deliveries, particularly if you live in a remote area.  One of our most successful representatives is a single mum with two children and no car!
