I really enjoy selling Avon and with every new customer i receive i feel a great sense of achievement. I found the best way to succeed is to get your brochures out practically everywhere in your area, this requires a lot of dedication but the reward of getting a new customer makes it all worthwhile. Once you have a great customer base always be consistent and keep your customers well informed, i return to the same customers on the same day of each week and always do my deliveries on the same day so they know when to expect me. My top tip is that I always deliver my brochures in clear plastic bags (i use sandwich bags!) so that if your customer has to pop out they can leave the brochure and their order on their doorstep for me to collect no matter what the weather, that way you save time not having to return and best of all the brochure stays in mint condition so it can go back out there and work its magic all over again!
I became an Avon Representative last year and have to say I was fairly sceptical to begin with… however I have not looked back since! I find most prospective clients are delighted to receive a brochure and as Avon is a well-established name with a great reputation it sells itself. Clients look forward to receiving their order and the brochure for the next campaign.
I find being a Rep is flexible so I am able to schedule it around my family life and the earnings help towards our monthly bills. Most of all I absolutely love the social element of being a Rep; I have got to know my neighbours and continue to make friends along the way.
